Brand Manager – Dulcolax (UK) | Opella
Location: Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid)
About The Role
Dulcolax is a global leader in digestive health, helping millions of people feel more comfortable and confident every day. We are looking for a Brand Manager to lead the Dulcolax portfolio and wider digestive health brands across the UK market.
This role offers a unique combination of strategic leadership, senior stakeholder management, and hands-on brand execution. As the UK brand lead, you will shape local growth strategies, influence key business decisions, and deliver impactful omnichannel campaigns that drive brand performance and market share growth.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Growth
- Adapt global brand strategies to meet UK market needs and opportunities.
- Develop and execute local brand plans that support commercial growth objectives.
- Identify new growth opportunities through consumer, market and category insights.
P&L & Budget Management
- Own brand financial performance, including budget management and P&L responsibility.
- Monitor investment effectiveness and optimise spend to maximise return on investment.
- Track key performance indicators and market share performance.

Campaign Development & Execution
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated omnichannel marketing campaigns.
- Partner with agencies and cross-functional teams to create engaging, effective brand communications.
- Drive activation across digital, retail, pharmacy and healthcare professional channels.
Consumer & Market Insights
- Analyse consumer behaviour, market trends and performance data to identify actionable insights.
- Translate data into recommendations that drive business performance and brand growth.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory and other key stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships and influence decision-making across UK and WEU teams.
- Ensure aligned execution of brand initiatives across all functions.
Experience
About You
- Proven experience in Brand Management.
- FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Pharma or OTC experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing brand plans, campaigns and budgets.

Education
- Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline preferred.
- Equivalent experience and a strong track record will also be considered.
