About the Company
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the scope, responsibilities, deliverables and performance expectations for an outsourced Durability Analysis Engineer engaged on a 6-month contract to support vehicle and component durability activities.
About the Role
Contract Period Duration: 6 Months
Location: Hybrid (Gaydon and other test locations as required)
Reporting to: Attribute Senior Manager – Durability & Reliability
Responsibilities
- Generate static load decks and cascade to functions groups as part of Level 1 & Level 2 requirement cascade.
- Duty cycle calculation and development based on agreed vehicle, system and component level targets.
- Rig and vehicle durability test definition and support.
- RLDA data management, load case calculation, validation and deployment to commodity engineering teams.
- Analysis of CAE simulation data to recalculate and refine damage coefficients.
- Work with centralised CAE team within Advance Engineering Group in the create and deployment of design load cases.
- Cycle unit management and maintenance of testing procedures and instructions.
- Damage coefficient management for fatigue calculations, maintenance, validation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Degree-qualified Mechanical, Automotive or related engineer with demonstrable experience in durability, fatigue analysis, RLDA processing, CAE interpretation.
- Ideally 10 years’ experience within automotive.
