Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere.

We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes.


Position Details

We are currently looking for a Dutch Teacher for one of our clients in Sheffield, United Kingdom.

  • Format: one-to-one
  • Total Hours: 22
  • Session length: two-hour
  • Location: S35 8LY, Sheffield
  • Student Level:
  • Student Age Group: G: 65 and over
  • Schedule: one 2-hour session per week, if possible, one every two weeks. Any day except Mondays. Time: not before 11 am.
  • Start Date: In a month's time
  • Motivation: I like languages, and in Lockdown, everyone had to have a project of some sort to stop themselves from going mad. I chose to study Dutch because I've got a good A Level in German, so I could start off on my own. I have a Dorling Kindersley book of instruction including vocabulary and Grammar, and a good dictionary. I have acquired a number of Dutch Facebook Friends in the Netherlands: but they write to me in English, at which they excel. What is very interesting for me is when they Post for each other

Ideal Candidate

  • Be a native Dutch speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
  • Have a valid work permit/visa
  • Live within 20 miles of the specified location
