Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse operations, resource management, and customer service, including line management for the General Assistant team.
- Ensure full Health and Safety compliance across all warehouse areas.
- Drive balanced performance across key business metrics and KPIs aligned with company goals.
- Maintain branch compliance with internal standards for consistency and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to build skills for current and future opportunities.
- Conduct regular colleague reviews to enhance engagement and support professional growth.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to create a succession plan for branch stability.
- Ensure effective recruitment, attracting top talent to the organisation.
- Deliver structured daily briefings to align the team with key objectives and measures.

Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Alternate Saturdays (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Average of 44 hours per week
Skills and Experience
- Strong communication skills to foster positive customer and colleague relationships.
- Experience leading warehouse operations with a customer-first mindset.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes.
- Understanding of Picking Lists (PLs) and stock booking procedures.
- Ability to identify and resolve health and safety issues proactively.
- Skill in challenging, coaching, and developing team members for optimal performance.
