About Us

Role
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel while maintaining exceptional service standards across all departments
- Act as the main point of contact for guests during your shift, resolving complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Support and coordinate operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Maintenance, to ensure seamless hotel operations
- Carry out regular hotel walkarounds to ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety are maintained
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback and escalated issues professionally and efficiently
- Monitor occupancy, arrivals, departures and VIP guests to ensure operational readiness throughout each shift
- Support Reception during busy periods, including check-in/check-out where required
- Complete shift reports, handovers and communicate effectively with department managers
- Respond confidently to emergencies and incidents, following company procedures at all times
- Support departmental managers in achieving operational and guest satisfaction targets

The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Supervisor within a hotel environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience using Opera Cloud or a similar PMS
- Knowledge of hotel operations and health & safety procedures
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
