About Us

Role

As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel while maintaining exceptional service standards across all departments
  • Act as the main point of contact for guests during your shift, resolving complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Support and coordinate operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Maintenance, to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Carry out regular hotel walkarounds to ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety are maintained
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback and escalated issues professionally and efficiently
  • Monitor occupancy, arrivals, departures and VIP guests to ensure operational readiness throughout each shift
  • Support Reception during busy periods, including check-in/check-out where required
  • Complete shift reports, handovers and communicate effectively with department managers
  • Respond confidently to emergencies and incidents, following company procedures at all times
  • Support departmental managers in achieving operational and guest satisfaction targets

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Supervisor within a hotel environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience using Opera Cloud or a similar PMS
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and health & safety procedures
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
