The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Duty Manager to take full responsibility for a busy building that hosts a wide range of internal teams and external multi-agency partners on a daily basis.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring people feel safe, supported and confident in their working environment. You will oversee key services including cleaning, maintenance, security and catering (where applicable), ensuring service delivery is consistent, compliant and aligned with agreed SLAs and KPIs.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Taking ownership of the day-to-day operation of the building, ensuring it is safe, secure and fit for purpose
  • Managing cleaning, maintenance, security and catering services, ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are met
  • Carrying out regular fire and security walk-rounds, responding to issues promptly and ensuring they are logged and resolved
  • Acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external multi-agency partners
  • Maintaining clear, reliable communication channels, including email, post and telephone
  • Overseeing general health and safety responsibilities, including risk assessments and statutory/non-statutory site requirements
  • Demonstrating a consistently high level of security awareness at all times
  • Ensuring full understanding and application of emergency and evacuation procedures
  • Creating an environment where everyone on site feels reassured, informed and well supported
