Key Responsibilities

Event Operations

  • Act as the principal day-to-day contact during public opening hours and have overall responsibility for the daily operation of Glide at Battersea Power Station.
  • Ensure all attractions open on time and operate efficiently throughout the day, including the ice rink, bar, fairground rides, photography partner, sponsor activations, and associated guest experiences.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained throughout the operating period and that the event is delivered to the required standards and Mari KPIs.
  • Oversee general housekeeping and site maintenance, arranging contractors as required to resolve infrastructure or maintenance issues.
  • Liaise with Mari regarding any planned or unplanned operational closures.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Ensure all staff are deployed effectively and carrying out their duties to the required standard.
  • Deliver comprehensive daily briefings to all Marshals, Boot Handlers, Ticket Checkers, and Skate Exchange staff in line with Mari's operational procedures.
  • Familiarise all staff with the event site layout, including key operational areas, attractions, emergency routes, assembly points, and their individual responsibilities.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture, providing support, coaching, and guidance throughout the operating period.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
