Join Our Team as a Duty Security Manager!
Location: London
Hours: 4 on, 4 off - 07.00am-19.00pm
Pay: £19.46 per hour
To operationally manage the Wilson James Security Team on site, ensuring the effective delivery of security operations and incident management. To oversee and respond to security, health and safety, and operational incidents, working closely with the Control Room Team to coordinate staff deployment and ensure a timely and professional response. To support and lead the security team in providing a service that is both compassionate and customer-focused, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and operational effectiveness.
About The Role
As a Duty Security Manager:
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with the Client stakeholders.
- Implement operational procedures in line with Client's requests, for example SOPs.
- Act as day-to-day operational key contact for escalated operational issues and pass to Regional Operations Manager for further escalation as required.
- Ensure, with support via direct reports, all staff work in safe conditions, acting upon all reports of accidents and faults and that staff carry out their duties in accordance with the Client's and WJ procedures and policies.
- Manage and coordinate special events, VIP visits, press, filming & broadcasting on site ensuring staffing levels are appropriate and in place.
- Support safeguarding, security and safety inductions.
- Maintain exceptional service standards by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising.

What we are looking for:
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
- An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors' needs.
- Knowledge of security systems.
- Proven people management experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communicator.
- NEBOSH / IOSH (useful).
- CCTV / Door Supervisor license.
