Job Title: Duty Security Manager

Location: Fitzrovia

Unitrust are looking to recruit professional, dedicated Duty Security Managers to deliver a best-in-class service to a new prestigious contract in Fitzrovia, London. Unitrust is an exciting security company, whom have a large footprint of clients across London.

You must hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA License to work within our business and with the security supervisor role, CCTV Public Space Surveillance is also desirable.

Key Information:

  • Location: Fitzrovia, London
  • Rate: £18.95 per hour.
  • Shifts: 4 on, 4 off. Days and nights and weekends.
  • Hours: Approx avg. 42 hours per week
  • Start Times: 07:00 Days & 19:00 Nights proposed

ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the management of the security contract at the client’s premises.
  • Be the site lead with all procedures.
  • Ensure Assignment Instructions are always adhered to.
  • Ensure that all Unitrust personnel follow the correct dress code.
  • Deelop relationships onsite with tenants, suppliers & contractors.
  • To comply with company health and safety procedures.

Duties

  • Investigate incidents.
  • Record and report all incidents and accidents.
  • Keep security records and logs up to date.
  • Carry out post/mail duties with accurate record keeping.
  • Undertake administrative duties, including assistance with compliance documentation.
  • Act as Incident Controller.
  • Monitor and train staff.
  • Deal with staff and visitors' enquiries and requests.
  • Initiate call-out procedures in the event of a critical incident.
  • Comply with applicable environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Conduct Unitrust staff appraisals, welfare meetings, and probation reviews.
  • Manage Unitrust staff performance where required.
  • Administer the on-site patrol system.
  • Provide team mentoring, training, and development.
  • Identify and mitigate potential threats at an early stage.
  • Maintain an outstanding knowledge of the premises.
  • Record details of any suspected criminal activity on the premises.
  • Manage the booking in and administration of deliveries on site.
  • Undertake any reasonable instruction received from the client or Unitrust management.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors.
  • Take an active interest in, and demonstrate commitment to, the client.

  • Use CCTV, access control systems, and any other electronic management systems appropriately.
  • Be familiar with all Security and Emergency Procedures on site.

  • Embrace and deliver bespoke training requirements.
  • Complete all rostered duties and associated tasks.

Essential Skills:

  • A 5-year checkable work history in the security industry and/or within the hospitality sectors.
  • Interpersonal skills and confidence are a must.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task.
  • Self-confidence and an interest in self-deelopment.
  • Ability to work to instruction and on your own initiative where required.
  • Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of security threats.
  • Enhanced communication, listening, and customer service skills.
  • Operation of any CCTV/access control communications.
