Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DV Cleared IT Systems Engineer to join a small, specialist technical team working on secure Defence infrastructure. This is a hands-on, design-focused role with responsibility across Windows engineering, infrastructure security, virtualisation and technical delivery.

Location

London – hybrid, 2–3 days per week

Compensation

  • Day rate: £530/day – Inside IR35
  • Active DV clearance essential
  • Contract – 6 months, with potential extension

Key Experience Required

  • Strong Windows 10/11 engineering & hardening experience
  • Secure Windows Gold Image builds
  • Experience with hypervisors / virtualisation, including KVM or proprietary technologies
  • Secure infrastructure design and deployment
  • MFA / IAM, logging, patching and vulnerability mitigation
  • Knowledge of NCSC or equivalent security standards
  • Strong technical documentation and technical handover experience
  • Previous experience within UK Defence or National Security
