DV Cleared CHECK Penetration Tester - Remote w/ Client visits
We're working with a specialist UK cyber security consultancy delivering high-end penetration testing, technical assurance and threat simulation services across government, defence and other security-critical environments.
The business has built a strong reputation for technically focused, bespoke security consultancy, with work spanning penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability research, secure architecture and continuous technical assurance. Their consultants work on complex engagements where the quality of the technical assessment genuinely matters.
They're now looking to bring an experienced DV Cleared Penetration Tester into their growing technical team. This is an opportunity to work on challenging engagements within highly secure environments, alongside experienced consultants and security professionals.

Location: Remote with onsite testing with clients
Salary: £50-60k
Clearance: DV or SC with DV eligibility
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering CHECK-compliant penetration tests across networks, infrastructure and applications
- Identifying, exploiting and demonstrating vulnerabilities through manual and automated testing
- Supporting red team and adversary simulation engagements
- Producing clear, technically detailed reports with practical remediation advice
- Working directly with clients to scope engagements, present findings and provide technical guidance
- Developing testing methodologies, tooling and technical capabilities
- Keeping up to date with emerging vulnerabilities and offensive security techniques
What we're looking for:

- Active DV Clearance
- CHECK Team Member status
- 2+ years' commercial penetration testing experience
- Strong understanding of networks, operating systems and security technologies
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap and Metasploit
- Strong vulnerability identification and exploitation skills
- Excellent technical reporting and client communication skills
- A genuine interest in offensive security and vulnerability research
