Job Title: DV Cleared Principal Engineer

Location: Malvern
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Rate: Market rates

Must be willing and eligible to go through the DV Clearance process

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client where you'll help deliver complex IT infrastructure activities end-to-end—building, configuring, testing, and supporting changes that keep mission-critical environments secure and reliable. If you enjoy hands-on technical delivery and clear documentation, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and configure Windows infrastructure including Domain setup with GPOs and licensing configuration
  • Update and configure 3rd party applications and services, including integrations and security tooling
  • Configure networking and monitoring components (e.g., QSWAN/IMPEX, vulnerability scanning, SolarWinds, Ivanti Device Control)
  • Prepare development environments and build/validate SQL Server and Windows templates (virtual client)
  • Set up logging/monitoring with Splunk, including forwarder deployment and implementation support
  • Design logging approaches, build assets/base servers, and import/install required components
  • Support penetration testing activities (prep, escort, cleanup) and produce a remediation plan
  • Conduct user onboarding support and provide architectural/early capability assistance
  • Update documentation, perform system acceptance reviews, and support service transition activities
