Systems Engineers & Technical Architects
Systems Engineers & Technical Architects required for high-impact, complex engineering programmes in National Security.
Inside IR35 contract up to £670/day
Permanent positions to £90,000 base + package
eDV must be held on application
If you're a Systems Engineer or Technical Architect, with an enhanced DV Clearance for high-side IT access, looking to work on programmes that genuinely matter, this is an opportunity to have real influence.
You'll join a growing engineering consultancy delivering some of the UK's most technically challenging National Security programmes, working alongside exceptional engineers to solve complex problems, shape solution architectures and guide projects from concept through to delivery.
This isn't a role where you'll help define future systems of critical importance.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of technical delivery across complex programmes, combining systems thinking with hands-on engineering expertise to deliver solutions that operate in some of the UK's most demanding environments.

You'll be responsible for:
- Shaping solution architectures and engineering approaches for complex technical challenges.
- Leading systems engineering activities across the full project lifecycle.
- Working directly with customers to understand requirements and turn them into deliverable solutions.
- Running technical workshops, design reviews and architecture discussions.
- Identifying technical risks early and developing practical mitigation strategies.
- Producing engineering artefacts including requirements, system models, interface definitions and design documentation.
- Providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Influencing delivery decisions and ensuring solutions remain technically robust throughout implementation.

You'll already have experience delivering complex technical programmes within secure or highly regulated environments and enjoy working where engineering quality is valued.
We're particularly interested in people with experience in:
- Systems Engineering or Technical Architecture.
- Software, cyber, networking or complex digital systems.
- Defence, National Security, Government or other mission-critical environments.
- Systems engineering frameworks and delivery lifecycles.
- Requirements management, technical assurance and solution design.
- Customer engagement and technical leadership.
