DV Cleared Tester
Location: London / Hybrid

Security Clearance: Developed Vetting (DV) – Essential
We are looking for an experienced DV Cleared Tester to join a major technology and transformation programme supporting a high-profile UK public sector organisation.
You will be responsible for carrying out testing across applications, systems and integrations, identifying defects and ensuring solutions meet the required functional, technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute testing across the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Carry out functional, system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, record and manage defects through to resolution.
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Test Managers and Project Managers to investigate and resolve issues.
- Perform API and integration testing where required.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of test environments and test data.
- Execute regression testing following system changes and releases.
- Provide clear test results, defect reports and progress updates.
- Ensure testing is completed against agreed acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Support release and deployment activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
- Ensure all testing activities follow appropriate security and governance requirements.

- Active DV clearance – essential.
- Proven experience working as a Software Tester / QA Tester within complex technology environments.
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Experience conducting functional, integration, system and regression testing.
- Strong defect identification, documentation and management experience.
- Experience working with Agile delivery teams.
- Ability to interpret technical and business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Good understanding of software development and release processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
