Technical Project Manager; Applications Coherence Consultant – C4ISR
Location: Wiltshire – hybrid, three days onsite per week
Rate: £550–£610 per day (Inside I35)
Contract: Long-term (multi-year)
Start date: Mid-October
Clearance: Active DV required

Venn Group is supporting a major defence programme in the appointment of an experienced Applications Coherence Consultant to work across a C4ISR environment.
This is a long-term contract supporting the coherence of applications across a complex Defence Digital estate. Applicants must have demonstrable Applications Coherence experience; general C4ISR or architecture experience without this specific background will not be sufficient.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Applications Coherence across the C4ISR environment
- Coordinate and manage technical working groups
- Engage with stakeholders across Defence Digital and the wider programme
- Capture, analyse and manage technical and business requirements
- Support change management across applications, services and programme workstreams
- Identify dependencies, gaps and areas of duplication across the applications landscape
- Produce clear recommendations, documentation and stakeholder updates
- Attend meetings in Wiltshire, occasional travel overseas (rare)
Essential Experience
- Previous Applications Coherence experience within an MOD or defence environment
- Strong knowledge of C4ISR applications and capabilities
- Familiarity with Defence Digital
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Change management experience
- Requirements management experience
- Experience coordinating technical working groups
- Active and transferable DV clearance
- Sole British nationality
- Availability to work onsite in Wiltshire three days per week

Previous service within the Royal Corps of Signals would be particularly advantageous. The successful consultant must be available to start in mid-October. Interviews are being arranged immediately.
