D365 Business Development / Sales Consultant
New Business Growth – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partner
UK – Remote
Uncapped OTE
The Company
Our client is an established Microsoft Partner delivering Dynamics 365 BC and wider Microsoft solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers. As the practice scales, they are investing in a dedicated new-business sales hire to drive growth beyond their existing client base.
The Role
This is a pure new-business hunting role, not account management. You will own the full sales cycle for winning net-new Dynamics 365 BC and ERP-related engagements, working closely with pre-sales, delivery and marketing to build and convert a pipeline against a target of £1.5m+ in new revenue per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert new business opportunities across Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Build and manage a pipeline sufficient to consistently exceed a £1.5m+ annual new business target.
- Proactively prospect via outbound calling, email, LinkedIn and networking – this is a hunter role, not a farmer role.
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing and partner/Microsoft channels, and convert them into won business.
- Run and own the full sales cycle: discovery, solution positioning, proposal, commercial negotiation and close.
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical consultants to shape compelling, credible client proposals.
- Build relationships with Microsoft's own sales teams and other partner/referral channels to generate warm introductions.
- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline data and provide reliable forecasting to leadership.
- Represent the business at industry events, webinars and networking functions to build market presence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
