D365 Business Central Functional Consultant
Remote (UK) with occasional client visits | Microsoft Partner | Permanent
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 plus benefits
The Opportunity
Innovative Tech People is partnering with a well-established Microsoft Partner to find a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant for its growing team. The role is fully remote, with occasional visits to client sites as needed.
You'll join a friendly, collaborative team that delivers Business Central projects for a varied client base. You'll get to shape solutions from discovery right through to go-live and support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running requirements workshops and turning business needs into practical Business Central solutions
- Configuring and implementing D365 BC across Finance, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing
- Leading fit-gap analysis and writing functional design documents
- Supporting data migration, testing and user acceptance
- Delivering training and go-live support for end users
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients as their go-to functional expert
- Working closely with developers and technical consultants to deliver extensions and integrations

What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of D365 Business Central (or NAV) functional consulting experience
- Strong functional knowledge in one or more of Finance, Warehousing or Manufacturing
- Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, ideally within a Microsoft Partner
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in front of clients at all levels
- Willingness to travel for occasional client visits
- Microsoft certifications (e.g. MB 800) are a bonus
