Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

- 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse development experience.
- Strong experience developing C# Plugins, Custom APIs, and Custom Workflow Activities.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse architecture, solution design, and data modelling.
- Experience building integrations using:
- Microsoft Dataverse Web APIs
- Dynamics 365 Web APIs
- REST APIs
- OAuth and modern authentication mechanisms
- Experience developing:
- PCF Controls
- JavaScript and TypeScript solutions
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Custom Web Resources
- Strong experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for Dynamics 365 development.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code for Power Platform, PCF, JavaScript, TypeScript, and automation development.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated unit tests using MSTest, NUnit, xUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including:
- Unit Testing
- Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Mocking Frameworks
- Code Reviews
- Code Quality Practices
- Secure Coding Standards
- Source Control and Branching Strategies
- Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing deployments using Dynamics 365 Solutions and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 security architecture and its impact on customisations and integrations.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party systems and APIs.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- API Management
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with AWS-hosted platforms and services.
- Experience implementing automated testing frameworks for Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform solutions.
- Experience using FakeXrmEasy or similar frameworks for Dynamics 365 unit testing.
- Experience using GitHub for source control, branch management, pull requests, and collaborative software development.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and other AI capabilities within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 Customer Service in enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related certifications.
- Experience with application monitoring, telemetry, and production support processes.
