Dynamics 365 F&SCM Technical Architect
Contract | 12 Months | £635 per day (Inside IR35) | Hybrid (UK – 3 days onsite - Wokingham)
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Technical Architect to join a large-scale digital transformation programme for a leading global organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM solution that will support manufacturing operations across multiple countries. You will be responsible for leading the technical architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring successful solution delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture and solution delivery for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM.
- Participate in business blueprint workshops to understand and translate business requirements.
- Conduct Fit/Gap analysis and define technical solutions for identified gaps.
- Produce detailed technical architecture, design, integration, and data migration documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and testing teams.
- Review technical designs, code quality, and functional test cases.
- Support estimation activities for enhancements and change requests.
- Ensure best practice across solution architecture, development, deployment, and integrations.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O).
- Strong technical architecture expertise across Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
- Advanced development experience including X++, MorphX IDE, AIF, Enterprise Portal, and customisations.
- Experience designing Azure-based integrations.
- Strong reporting experience using Power BI and SSRS.
- Experience producing technical architecture and design documentation.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and delivery methodologies.
- Experience leading technical delivery teams on Dynamics 365 F&O programmes.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- Knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain modules including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Sales & Marketing
- Inventory Management
- Manufacturing (Process)
- Quality Management
- Experience delivering at least three Microsoft Dynamics implementations, including at least one Dynamics 365 F&O implementation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Certification.
- Experience across multiple functional modules including Financials, Supply Chain Management, and Loyalty Management.
