Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer
Location: Northamptonshire – onsite initially, moving to hybrid after 6 months
Salary: Up to £75,000 + benefits, depending on experience
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
An established Microsoft Dynamics partner is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join its growing team in Northamptonshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied client base, ranging from smaller organisations using standard cloud solutions through to larger businesses running complex and highly customised Business Central environments.
The role will initially require you to be onsite near Northampton, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working model after six months.
The Role
As a D365 Business Central Developer, you will work closely with consultants and clients to design, develop and deliver solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and customising Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
- Working with consultants to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
- Building bespoke functionality and extensions to meet client requirements
- Supporting Business Central upgrades, migrations and implementations
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across existing client environments
- Supporting testing, deployment and ongoing development of Business Central solutions
- Working with integrations and data flows between Business Central and other systems
- Producing clear technical documentation for developments
- Supporting both new and existing client projects

What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Good knowledge of AL development and Business Central extensions
- Previous experience working with Dynamics NAV would be beneficial
- Experience with Business Central upgrades, migrations and customisations
- Strong understanding of Business Central architecture and data structures
- Ability to interpret functional requirements and develop effective technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with consultants and clients
- Previous experience within a Microsoft Partner or consultancy environment would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence preferred due to occasional client-site requirements

This role offers the chance to join an experienced Dynamics team with a long-standing track record in the Business Central and NAV market. You will work on varied projects and have exposure to both standard implementations and more complex customised environments.
Salary up to £75,000 + benefits depending on experience.
