Senior Application Specialist – Dynamics 365 & Power Platform
Location: York
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Employment Type: Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Specialist to join an established platform team within a large organisation. The role will focus on Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform, with responsibility for designing, developing and continuously improving business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and enhance solutions across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across solution design and development.
- Work with Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Design and support integrations with external systems and services.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex application issues.
- Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, release management and deployment automation.
- Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Ideal Candidate
- Significant hands-on experience with Dynamics 365.
- Strong experience across Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and solution design.
- Experience with APIs, integrations and external systems.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience supporting business-critical applications within an enterprise environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced colleagues.

- Microsoft Azure
