Dynamics System Configurator
We are seeking a Dynamics System Configurator to configure and optimise our Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. Supporting the System Owner, the role focuses on translating defined and approved business requirements into effective system configurations, ensuring that our Dynamics 365 environment supports operational efficiency, automation, and reporting needs in the context of a market-leading membership organisation.
Key Activities/Accountabilities
- Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance & Operations, etc.) based on business requirements.
- Translate business processes into system configurations, workflows, and automation.
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and developers to ensure Dynamics 365 supports organisational goals.
- Create, maintain, and optimise forms, views, dashboards, reports, and workflows.
- Manage security roles, access rights, and permissions within Dynamics 365.
- Support data imports, exports, and migrations, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Assess configuration impacts, support UAT and prepare changes for release.
- Troubleshoot configuration issues, provide user support, and recommend process improvements.
- Document configurations, processes, and system changes for auditing and knowledge sharing.

- Proven experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance & Operations).
- Strong understanding of business processes, including CRM, ERP, and operational workflows.
- Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of security roles, data management, and reporting in Dynamics 365.
- Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritisation and documentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communications skills.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are a plus (e.g., MB-200, MB-210, MB-220, MB-300, MB-500).
