E-Commerce and Digital Operations Administrator

About the Role
Arktis is looking for a proactive, organised and digitally confident E-Commerce and Digital Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day running and continued development of our digital platforms, online stores and wider marketing operations.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining e-commerce administration, digital content management, product data, reporting and IT coordination. You will play an important part in ensuring our websites and third-party marketplaces are accurate, engaging, commercially effective and up to date, while also supporting the Marketing and Operations teams with a range of ongoing projects.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider business, you will help improve the online customer experience, maintain accurate product information, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure our digital and operational systems run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce & Website Administration
- Manage the day-to-day administration of Arktis websites and webstores, ensuring product information, pricing, specifications and content are accurate and up to date.
- Create and maintain product listings across our websites and third-party marketplaces, including writing product descriptions and verifying technical specifications.
- Monitor website performance, prepare reports and recommend improvements to functionality, user experience and commercial performance.
- Review and maintain website themes, applications and functionality to support ongoing development and performance.
- Maintain and optimise website content, including product pages, landing pages, images and videos.
- Take and edit product photographs, including garments and other equipment, for use on website product pages, ensuring images are clear, accurate and consistent with brand guidelines.

Digital Content & Marketing Support
- Work with our 3rd party content creators, influencers and marketing team to ensure all operate effectively.
- Create, edit and optimise website content to ensure it is engaging, SEO-friendly, accurate and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Support content creation days in the field, assisting with the practical requirements of producing product and marketing content.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with trade show planning, logistics and the preparation and management of marketing materials and stock.
Product Data, Inventory & Operations
- Maintain accurate product codes and associated product information within the Cin7 Inventory Management System.
- Support the ongoing transition to a new Inventory Management System (IMS), working closely with the Operations team to help ensure a smooth changeover.
- Assist with inventory, logistics and IT requirements for internal projects, including warehouse moves and the adoption of new systems.
- Help maintain accurate product information and ensure data consistency across digital platforms and internal systems.
IT & Business Support
- Provide first-line support for routine office IT issues, troubleshooting and system updates.
- Coordinate with third-party IT support providers, raising, tracking and following up on support tickets.
- Produce reports and performance information for directors and senior management as required.
- Provide general digital and administrative support across Marketing, Operations and other departments to help deliver business priorities.

We are looking for someone who is practical, resourceful and comfortable managing a varied workload. You will enjoy working with digital platforms and product data, solving problems and helping different teams achieve their objectives.

- Experience in e-commerce, website administration, digital marketing or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing product information and data.
- Good written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging product descriptions and website content.
- An understanding of SEO, online merchandising and the importance of a positive customer experience.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks across several projects.
- Good IT skills and confidence learning new software, systems and applications.
- A practical, problem-solving mindset and the confidence to investigate issues before escalating them.
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, external suppliers and IT support providers.
- A flexible, team-oriented approach and a willingness to get involved in both digital and hands-on operational tasks.
Experience with inventory management systems, third-party online marketplaces, website content management systems and e-commerce reporting would be advantageous. Familiarity with Cin7 and basic product photography would also be beneficial.
