Ecommerce & Marketplace Executive Overview
A growing fashion business is looking for an Ecommerce & Marketplace Executive to manage and grow key marketplace accounts.
This is a commercially focused role combining marketplace account management, sales, and ecommerce operations. The successful candidate will build relationships with marketplace partners and take ownership of the day-to-day ecommerce back office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop key marketplace accounts, building strong relationships with buyers and account contacts.
- Sell and promote the company's fashion brands to marketplace partners, identifying opportunities to grow sales and distribution.
- Manage ecommerce back-office activity, including product uploads, pricing, stock, product information, and imagery.
- Use Shopify and marketplace platforms to ensure products are accurately and effectively presented online.
- Monitor sales, stock, and product performance across accounts, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Proactively identify missed sales opportunities, such as additional colorways, replenishment, new products, or opportunities to expand the range.
- Analyse account performance and use commercial insight to make recommendations to increase sales.
- Communicate with marketplace partners regarding product launches, pricing, stock, promotions, and trading performance.
- Coordinate new product and collection launches, ensuring products are live accurately and on time.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth management of products, stock, and orders.

- Experience managing or working with online retail/marketplace accounts.
- Strong Shopify and Excel skills.
- Good understanding of ecommerce back-office processes, including product uploads, pricing, stock, and SKU management.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to look beyond day-to-day account management and identify opportunities to drive sales.
- Analytical, proactive, and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in fashion, ecommerce, and digital retail.
