Ecommerce & Marketplace Junior Account Manager
Location: Cwmbran HQ – minimum 4 days per week
Department: Sales
Reporting to: Head of National Accounts
Salary: Competitive salary + performance-related bonus
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, driven and commercially minded Ecommerce & Marketplace Account Manager to join our Sales team. You will take day-to-day ownership of our online marketplace accounts, with a key focus on growing sales, maximising opportunities and ensuring our brands and products perform at their best online. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role for someone who is proactive, analytical, organised and confident taking ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop our online marketplace accounts.
- Maintain and optimise product listings, content, imagery, pricing and product information.
- Monitor stock availability and proactively identify issues that could impact sales.
- Manage new product launches, ensuring products are live accurately and on time.
- Plan and execute promotional activity to drive sales and maximise key trading periods.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Track competitor pricing, promotions, content and activity and make commercial recommendations.
- Analyse sales, stock, pricing and promotional data using Excel.
- Identify underperforming products and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Liaise with marketplace contacts and resolve account or product issues.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Logistics to deliver online growth.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Driven, proactive and commercially focused.
- Confident working with numbers, data and Excel.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A strong communicator and team player.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Curious about ecommerce, online retail and consumer behaviour.
- Ambitious and keen to develop their career within Sales.

Experience
Essential
- Strong Excel skills.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience in ecommerce, online marketplaces, retail or sales.
- Experience with Amazon, eBay, Mirakl or similar platforms.
- Experience with promotional planning and online trading.
- Business Central (BC) knowledge.
Ecommerce experience is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for the right person with the commercial mindset, drive and ability to learn.
