E-Commerce Assistant

Role Overview
This is an exciting role for a candidate who is looking to start their career in a e-commerce focused role with advanced training and opportunities for progression. The eCommerce Assistant plays a key role in co-ordinating of our eCommerce business working with a variety of departments to contribute towards sales growth through our eCommerce store. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes variety in their job co-ordinating projects across a number of areas.
Working closely with the eCommerce Specialist, the successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks such as stock management, website improvements, new product launches, and the full-scale customer service process from purchase to delivery.
As a business we supply a wide product range including machines, accessories, and parts from leading brands including John Deere, STIHL, Honda, Husqvarna and many more.
Hours of work: 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Creating and co-ordinating product listings within our website via Shopify (including product descriptions and visual content)
- Ensuring correct technical information is accurate on product listings.
- Basic use of design tools (such as Canva & Photoshop).
- Organise our range of merchandise for eCommerce, including clothing and toys (ensuring stock availability and support with researching new products to add to our range).
- Responsibility of website order fulfilment by liaising with the internal departments and suppliers.
- Support with ad hoc tasks related to the online store, including merchandising and promotions.
- Dealing with inbound customer enquiries and order emails to ensure timely responses via email, phone, and online chat.
- Co-ordinate all returns/ exchanges and claims on orders via our website and marketplace channels e.g. eBay.

Experience
Essential
- An interest in and an initial understanding of eCommerce.
- Good understanding MS Office systems (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Detail orientated to ensure accuracies in product information.
- Good level of verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar, to produce accurate and compelling product descriptions.
- A desire to learn Agricultural, Turf and Ground Care equipment and eCommerce.
- The ability to take ownership of projects independently and as part of the wider team.
Desirable
- Any experience or awareness of using different types of Agricultural, Turf and Ground Care equipment would be beneficial.
- Experience with website content management systems (Wordpress, Shopify or similar) would be beneficial.
- Knowledge or previous experience of stock management ERP systems.
- Previous experience in a supply chain, marketing or customer service led role would be advantageous.
