About the Role
We're looking for a creative, organised and commercially minded Ecommerce Content Executive to help bring the KILLSTAR website to life. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you'll play a key role in delivering an inspiring and commercially effective online shopping experience by managing website content, homepage merchandising, onsite search and SEO activity.
Working closely with the Senior Ecommerce & Trading Executive and Website & Customer Experience Lead, you'll ensure our website remains fresh, engaging and aligned with our wider marketing activity and commercial priorities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity with commercial thinking, has a strong eye for detail and understands how great digital content can improve customer engagement, full-price sales and organic traffic. If this sounds like you, please read on!
What You’ll Do
Website Content Management
- Manage day-to-day website content across Shopify and all digital customer touchpoints.
- Build and maintain homepage content, landing pages, navigation, collections, promotional messaging and campaign assets.
- Plan, schedule and publish website campaigns, seasonal launches and product drops.
- Ensure website content is accurate, engaging, on-brand and delivered to agreed timelines.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify content issues and optimisation opportunities.
Homepage & Visual Merchandising
- Own the day-to-day planning and execution of the homepage, ensuring it reflects campaigns, key products and commercial priorities.
- Create compelling product stories, collections and edits that support full-price sell-through.
- Work with Merchandising and Buying teams to prioritise key products, categories and customer journeys.
- Work with Buying and Marketing to plan full-price themes far in advance to provide creative direction for content production.
- Review product presentation and merchandising to improve product discovery and engagement.
- Own the visual merchandising automations, oversee manual VM and support the development of KILLSTAR's digital visual merchandising approach
Onsite Search & Product Discovery
- Manage onsite search, collection merchandising and product sorting to improve product discoverability.
- Monitor customer search behaviour and identify opportunities to improve search results, filters and navigation.
- Recommend improvements based on customer behaviour, product performance and commercial priorities

SEO & Organic Growth
- Support the delivery of KILLSTAR's SEO activity by optimising website content, collection pages and landing pages.
- Work with our SEO agency partner to implement recommendations and deliver agreed actions.
- Create content that supports both traditional search engines and evolving AI-powered search experiences.
- Monitor organic performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility and traffic.
- Own SEO best practice on site - meta descriptions, alt text etc.
Content Performance & Optimisation
- Review performance of homepage content, campaigns and landing pages using GA4, Shopify Analytics and other ecommerce tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve content performance, customer engagement and full-price sales.
- Own the A/B testing programme for content, planning executing and optimising campaigns.
- Use data and customer insight to inform future content decisions.
- Carry out regular competitor reviews, sharing ideas and recommendations with the Ecommerce team.
- Explore targeting opportunities based on region, visitor type and segment for onsite content.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, CRM and Creative teams to ensure website content aligns with campaigns across all customer touchpoints.
- Ensure landing pages, collections and supporting content are live ahead of email, SMS and app campaigns.
- Ensure all collections that marketing link to are full, relevant, strong VM and all product featured in assets is near the top.
- Attend campaign and trading meetings to understand upcoming priorities.
- Work closely with the Senior Ecommerce & Trading Executive to ensure content supports commercial objectives.
- Support agile content planning by reacting quickly to new launches, bestsellers and emerging opportunities.
Wider E-commerce Support
- Support the wider Ecommerce team with website projects and trading activity during peak periods.
- Maintain high standards of website accuracy and content quality.
- Report website issues and work collaboratively with the Website & Customer Experience Lead to resolve them.
- Complete reporting and ecommerce projects as required

Your Experience Includes
- Experience working within an ecommerce, digital content or online retail environment.
- Experience using Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.
- Strong understanding of website content management and digital merchandising.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Commercially aware with an interest in ecommerce performance and customer behaviour.
- Comfortable using data to make informed content recommendations.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work at pace, adapt to changing priorities and maintain high standards of accuracy.
Bonus If You
- Fashion or lifestyle ecommerce experience.
- Experience using GA4, Shopify Analytics, Google Search Console or SEO tools.
- Experience with onsite search or merchandising tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML or Shopify Liquid.
Work Hours & Location
Here at KILLSTAR, we support a hybrid working model. This means you will join us on site for three days a week at our HQ in Brighton. The other 2 days can be spent working from wherever you choose, either on-site, remotely or from home. Some domestic and international travel may be required periodically.

This role is a full-time position of 37.5 hours, with hours worked between 08:00am – 06:00pm, Monday through to Friday.
