E-Commerce Manager
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a growing UK ecommerce company, to recruit an E-commerce Manager in Ethiopia. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the company's ecommerce platforms, optimise product listings and feeds, and drive online visibility, conversions and sales across multiple brands.
Work model and location: Remote within Ethiopia
Employment type: Full-time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain WooCommerce and WordPress ecommerce websites
- Maintain Google Merchant Centre accounts and optimise product feeds
- Resolve product disapprovals, warnings and feed errors to ensure product visibility
- Upload, maintain and optimise product titles, descriptions, images and pricing
- Manage product categories, variations, stock levels and shipping information
- Improve Google Shopping performance, ecommerce SEO and website conversion rates
- Monitor website and ecommerce performance using Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Google Merchant Centre
- Coordinate website plugins, integrations and ongoing platform improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve online visibility, customer experience and sales performance.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong hands-on experience with WooCommerce and WordPress
- Proven experience managing Google Merchant Centre accounts and product feeds
- Experience managing and optimising ecommerce product catalogues
- Good understanding of ecommerce SEO, product feeds and conversion rate optimisation
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of ecommerce operations
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Google Shopping, Performance Max or Google Ads is an advantage
- Experience with Channable, DataFeedWatch or similar feed management tools is an advantage
- Experience with online marketplaces, email marketing or product image optimisation is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience with personalised or made-to-order products is an advantage.
