About RingPay

RingPay makes contactless payment wearables — rings and bracelets that let you pay with a tap. No phone, no card, no PIN pad. We're Mastercard-certified and work with banks and partners across the UK and Europe, as well as selling direct to consumers through our own online store.

Here's what makes the brand interesting to work on: we're running two propositions at the same time, and both of them are growing.

Wearables for cool. This is a fashion and accessories business. Rings and bracelets in a range of materials and finishes, with the collection growing all the time. People buy them because they look good and because tapping your hand on a card reader still feels like the future. That side of the business competes on design, merchandising and desirability — the same as any jewellery or accessories brand.

Wearables for good. RingPay comes out of Money Carer, an organisation that has spent fifteen years building financial services for people the mainstream banking system tends to work around. A PIN pad is a genuine barrier for a lot of people — those living with dementia, with a learning disability, with dexterity or memory difficulties. A ring you tap isn't. That's independence you can wear, and it's why our wearables now sit alongside inclusive banking products and partnerships with banks across the UK and EU.

Same product, two very different reasons to buy it. Getting both stories told well online is the heart of this job.

The role

We're looking for an Ecommerce Manager to take full ownership of RingPay's online sales and marketing strategy — and then go and deliver it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be in the platform every day, not managing an agency from a distance. You'll own the storefront, the traffic that reaches it, the conversion rate once people arrive, and the revenue that comes out the other end. You'll also be the commercial link between RingPay and our bank and retail partners, coordinating joint campaigns, product launches and promotional activity.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and develop the RingPay Shopify store — merchandising, product pages, collections, checkout, apps, integrations and performance
  • Manage and develop our WordPress sites, including content, landing pages, SEO and technical upkeep
  • Build and run the online sales and marketing plan: paid social, search, email, affiliate and organic
  • Plan and execute campaigns around product launches and key retail moments
  • Segment and speak to distinct audiences — fashion and tech-led buyers on one side, families, carers and professionals on the other — without either message diluting the other
  • Coordinate joint campaigns with our bank and partner organisations across the UK and EU: mechanics, assets, timings, tracking, and honest reporting on what it delivered
  • Own the numbers: traffic, conversion rate, AOV, CAC, repeat purchase, returns — and know what you're doing next week to move them
  • Work with marketing, product and operations so stock, fulfilment and customer service stay joined up with what we're promoting

Essential

  • In-depth, working knowledge of Shopify — you've built, run and optimised a store, not just logged into one

  • Experience running promotional and campaign activity to a deadline
  • The ability to work with external partners professionally and get things over the line
  • A down-to-earth, can-do attitude — this is a role for someone who rolls their sleeves up

  • Experience in fashion, jewellery or accessories ecommerce
  • Experience in payments, fintech or consumer tech
  • Email and CRM platform experience (Klaviyo or similar)
  • Basic HTML/CSS and Liquid
