About NYSAMA

NYSAMA is a London-based luxury resort wear brand inspired by Ghanaian heritage, creating versatile pieces designed for the modern luxury traveller.

We are seeking a research-driven and commercially minded individual to support our PR, marketing and e-commerce activity. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong interest in fashion, digital marketing, e-commerce and brand growth.

The placement will run for an initial three-month period, during which performance, responsibilities and suitability for any potential continuation will be reviewed.

As a fully remote role, the successful candidate will need to be organized, proactive and able to manage tasks independently while maintaining clear communication with the team.

Key Responsibilities

PR & Influencer Marketing

  • Research and identify relevant influencers, content creators, stylists and celebrity opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop NYSAMA's influencer, stylist and media databases.
  • Research relevant press contacts and support with targeted media outreach.
  • Assist with celebrity and stylist casting.
  • Support the coordination and tracking of PR send-outs, loans and returns.
  • Monitor and respond to relevant social media DMs and support community engagement.
  • Research emerging talent, publications and relevant PR opportunities.

Marketing & E-Commerce

  • Research opportunities to increase website traffic, engagement and sales.
  • Research and recommend data-led newsletter themes based on performance, customer behavior and commercial priorities.
  • Develop newsletter briefs and assigned creative assets using Figma.
  • Research and create SEO-focused blog content based on relevant search opportunities.
  • Support ongoing SEO activity, including keyword and content research.
  • Support the development and optimization of email flows.
  • Monitor relevant competitors across Instagram and TikTok, identifying useful content, campaigns and commercial insights.
  • Research relevant fashion, social and e-commerce trends and translate findings into actionable ideas.

Reporting & Performance

  • Assist with gathering data for monthly marketing and e-commerce performance reviews.
  • Support the tracking of key metrics including website traffic, email performance, engagement and sales.
  • Identify performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records across relevant marketing and PR activity.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Research-driven, commercially aware and highly organized.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Interested in fashion, luxury, e-commerce and digital marketing.
  • Comfortable working with data and using insights to inform activity.
  • A strong written and verbal communicator.
  • Confident using digital platforms and social media.
  • Familiar with tools such as Figma, Shopify, Klaviyo, and SEO platforms.
  • Comfortable working within a fully remote environment and communicating effectively with a small team.
  • Previous experience in fashion, marketing, PR, e-commerce or a related field is desirable but not essential.

Placement Structure

The placement will initially run for three months. During this period, the individual will work under the direction of the NYSAMA team and contribute to agreed PR, marketing and e-commerce activities.

A review will take place during and at the end of the placement to assess performance, business requirements and whether there is scope for the relationship to continue. Any continuation would be subject to mutual agreement and applicable terms at that time.
