E-Commerce Media & Content Lead (maternity cover)

Join a global team driving digital growth for leading medical brands. Are you ready to shape eCommerce excellence across international markets? Do you thrive at the intersection of media, content, and business performance? Apply today and help us innovate for good.

THIS IS A 1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT.

About the Role

As E-Commerce Media & Content Lead, you will play a key role in accelerating the growth of Essity's global medical brands across Amazon and other strategic marketplaces during a maternity cover period. Working at the intersection of retail media, digital content, eCommerce strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, you will lead global planning and governance of media and content initiatives while ensuring strong execution across markets.

In this highly visible role, you will collaborate closely with local commercial teams, global marketing, agencies, and external partners to drive performance, optimize investments, and enhance the shopper experience across digital channels. The position requires a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to balance long-term priorities with hands-on execution in a dynamic global environment.

What You Will Do

  • Media Strategy & Planning: Lead global retail media strategy across Amazon and key eCommerce channels, defining priorities aligned with commercial and brand objectives.
  • Commercial Performance: Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and translate insights into recommendations that support business growth and market success.
  • Content Leadership: Oversee global eCommerce content governance across product pages, brand stores, and syndicated content while driving optimisation and digital shelf excellence.
  • Market Partnership: Collaborate with local commercial teams to translate global strategies into actionable market-level plans and priorities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a geographically distributed team, providing direction, coaching, prioritisation, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across global marketing, commercial teams, agencies, platform partners, and senior leadership to align priorities and deliver results.
  • Governance & Optimisation: Drive continuous improvement through governance routines, business reviews, budget planning, and operational excellence initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
