E-commerce Marketplace & Pureplay National Account Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
Location: Reading | Hybrid Working

We're working with an ambitious and fast-growing consumer healthcare business that is continuing to invest heavily in its digital capabilities. Following significant success across established online channels, our client is expanding its e-commerce function to accelerate growth across emerging marketplaces and pureplay retailers. This newly created position offers the opportunity to shape a key commercial area of the business, influence long-term strategy and make a measurable impact within a high-growth environment. It's also an excellent opportunity for a high-performing National Account Executive looking to take the next step into their first National Account Manager role, with the support, autonomy and commercial exposure to develop their career.

Role Overview

The E-commerce Marketplace & Pureplay National Account Manager will take ownership of developing and growing non-Amazon marketplace and pureplay retail partnerships, combining commercial account management with strategic business development to unlock new revenue opportunities.

Role Highlights

The E-commerce Marketplace & Pureplay National Account Manager will:

  • Own the commercial performance of marketplace and pureplay retail accounts.
  • Identify new digital partners, platforms and revenue opportunities.
  • Build and deliver joint business plans, pricing strategies and promotional activity.
  • Lead negotiations and onboarding of new marketplace partnerships.
  • Analyse trading performance and use commercial insights to drive continuous growth.

Requirements

The E-commerce Marketplace & Pureplay National Account Manager will bring:

  • At least three years' experience within e-commerce, marketplace or national account management.
  • A proven history of growing online customer accounts and delivering commercial success.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, promotions, commercial planning and P&L management.
  • Experience working with online retailers or marketplaces such as Ocado, LookFantastic, TikTok Shop or similar.
  • Excellent relationship-building, analytical and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
