Job Description
CSD is looking for a creative, highly organised and detail-oriented E-commerce Photographer & Consignment Assistant to join our team.
The main focus of this role will be e-commerce photography, ensuring that luxury products are photographed to a consistently high standard and are presented accurately and attractively across our website and marketplace platforms.
Alongside photography, you will support the wider consignment and quality control process. This will include assisting with customer service phone calls, handling consignor enquiries, checking product condition and supporting the team with day-to-day quality control tasks.
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong eye for detail, an interest in luxury fashion and photography, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Photography - Main Responsibility
- Photograph luxury handbags, clothing, shoes, jewellery, watches and accessories for CSD's e-commerce website and marketplace partners.
- Produce clean, consistent and high-quality product imagery in line with CSD's photography guidelines.
- Ensure all required product angles and details are captured, including front, back, sides, labels, hardware, serial/date codes and any relevant condition details.
- Photograph imperfections, wear, damage and other notable features accurately and clearly.
- Ensure products are correctly positioned, presented and prepared before photography.
- Maintain consistent lighting, framing, composition and image quality across the website.
- Review photographs before uploading to ensure that all required images have been captured.
- Organise and manage product photography efficiently to meet daily e-commerce targets.
- Work closely with the uploading and pricing teams to ensure products are ready for online listing.
- Assist with basic image editing and cropping where required.
Consignment Assistance
- Assist with the processing of incoming consignments.
- Support the team with checking and recording product information.
- Assist with preparing products for photography, quality control and listing.
- Ensure product details and images are accurately recorded within CSD's systems.
- Help identify missing information, discrepancies or issues with incoming items.
- Support the team with preparing consignor returns and collections when required.
Quality Control Support
- Assist the QC team with checking the condition of luxury items before they are listed for sale.
- Identify and accurately record signs of wear, stains, scratches, damage, alterations and other imperfections.
- Ensure condition descriptions accurately reflect the item photographed.
- Assist with checking that products meet CSD's resale standards.
- Support the authentication team by providing clear, detailed photographs where third-party authentication is required.
- Escalate any concerns regarding authenticity, condition or product details to the relevant team member.

Customer Service & Phone Support
- Answer customer and consignor phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with general customer and consignor enquiries.
- Provide information regarding consignments, collections, returns and product availability where appropriate.
- Take accurate messages and ensure enquiries are passed to the relevant team.
- Respond professionally and calmly to customer concerns and queries.
- Maintain CSD's high standard of customer service across all interactions.
E-commerce & Team Support
- Work closely with the E-commerce, Pricing, QC and Consignment teams.
- Help ensure products move efficiently through the photography, QC, pricing and uploading process.
- Flag delays, missing information or issues that may prevent an item from being listed.
- Assist with general e-commerce and warehouse tasks when required.
- Contribute ideas to improve CSD's photography standards and e-commerce processes.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient photography and working area.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in e-commerce photography, product photography or fashion photography is preferred. Experience photographing fashion, luxury goods or accessories is highly desirable. Strong understanding of photography, lighting, composition and image quality. Excellent attention to detail and a strong visual eye. Good knowledge and interest in luxury fashion and designer brands. Experience using photography equipment and basic image-editing software. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of products. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
