Position Overview
We are seeking an autonomous, customer-focused Ecommerce & Sales Lead to take ownership of our online sales channels and deliver exceptional customer support. In this remote position, you will be the driving force behind our online store operations and eBay marketplace, while acting as the primary point of contact for incoming sales enquiries, quotes, and customer service.
This is a key operational role for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote environment, balances commercial drive with meticulous attention to detail, and enjoys helping customers find the right solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Online Store & Marketplace Management
- Manage day-to-day operations for our primary online webstore and eBay channel.
- Create, optimize, and maintain product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, inventory levels, and imagery.
- Monitor channel performance, identify sales trends, and implement strategies to boost conversion rates and online revenue.
- Maintain a clean, user-friendly digital catalog across all platforms.
Customer Enquiries & Sales Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, live chat, and online marketplace messaging platforms.
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on customer quotes promptly, converting incoming enquiries into completed sales.
- Provide clear, helpful, and accurate technical or product guidance to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Resolve order issues, returns, or shipping queries efficiently to maintain top-tier customer feedback ratings (especially on eBay).

Order Processing & Operations
- Oversee order flow from initial purchase through to fulfillment, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and pipelines in our CRM system.
- Track channel metrics and feed customer insights back to management to help refine product offerings and customer experience.
Work Structure & Location
- Location: 100% Remote.
- Hours: Core business hours (Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, including a one-hour daily break), with the operational flexibility required to support busy sales periods and maintain rapid response times for online customer queries.
Experience & Core Competencies
- Ecommerce Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing an online webstore (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar) and trading on eBay.
- Sales & Quoting: Proven experience handling inbound sales enquiries, producing accurate quotes, and managing customer communications.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a focus on quick, helpful problem-solving.
- Self-Motivation & Independence: Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision, possessing excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Tech-fluent with CRMs, order management software, spreadsheet tools, and digital communication platforms.
