About the role
We're looking for a commercially driven Digital Trading Manager to help shape and grow our online business. In this role, you'll be responsible for maximising sales, conversion, and profitability across our digital channels by delivering an exceptional customer experience. Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll use data, insight, and trading expertise to optimise product performance, execute trading plans, and identify opportunities that drive sustainable growth and commercial success.
1 year Fixed-term Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the day-to-day trading and execution of the UK and international websites, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Analyse trading performance and produce regular reporting, identifying opportunities to drive sales, conversion and profitability.
- Optimise on-site merchandising, search, navigation, personalisation and promotional activity to enhance product discoverability and customer engagement.
- Own the digital trading strategy, contributing to site enhancements, UX improvements and A/B testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including SEO, Marketing, Buying and Merchandising, to deliver growth-driving initiatives and content updates.
- Plan, execute and evaluate promotional campaigns, ensuring stock availability and trading performance align with business objectives.
- Lead, coach and develop the Ecommerce Assistant, supporting their growth and performance.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Significant ecommerce trading experience with a proven ability to drive sales, profitability and conversion performance.
- Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in trading, merchandising, promotional planning and customer journey optimisation.
- Confidence using analytics, ecommerce platforms and optimisation tools to translate data into actionable insights.
- A solid understanding of SEO and digital best practice, with experience delivering growth through cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence teams across a fast-paced retail business.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
- Experience within international or multi-market ecommerce environments and Salesforce Commerce Cloud would be advantageous.
