Join Our L&D Team as an eLearning Specialist

We have a rare opportunity to join our friendly L&D team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

About the Role

The eLearning Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the area of developing engaging new eLearning courses and revising eLearning courses that meet the needs of both our employees and external business partners.

You will create eLearning courses that provide our business partners with product and technical on-line training to boost their knowledge of our products.

For internal employees, you will create a library of role related learning content working alongside the L&D Consultants and/or subject matter experts. This involves creating a selection of on demand self-guided learning, blended learning and resources to assist in the development of technical knowledge and capability.

The eLearning Specialist will be responsible for creating all assets required for each project, which includes creating and amending images, recording and editing audio and video. You will also have shared responsibility for the management and development of our Learning Management System and internal learning tools i.e. webinars.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Management System

  • Manage, administer and ensure successful operation of the ARAG Learning Management System ensuring it meets business requirements
  • Provide LMS architecture and project management expertise relating to building and updating the ARAG Learning Management System, including upgrades, content management, user management and administrative functions.

eLearning Design

  • Create and revise inclusive and accessible eLearning content using Articulate 360 or other authoring tools
  • Works with subject matter experts to develop eLearning modules that meet our regulatory responsibilities
  • Upload and configure eLearning content into learning management system
  • Integrate emerging instructional methods and technologies into eLearning

Multimedia Development

  • Creates multimedia assets using a variety of software programs i.e. Adobe Creative Suite
  • Manipulate and edit digital imagery, video and incorporate graphics, and effects
  • Create images and animations that identify a concept or convey a message using relevant software
  • Recording and editing audio files

Requirements

You will have:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role with focus on eLearning design
  • Experience in a regulated environment would be advantageous
  • The ability to manage eLearning projects through to completion meeting the required brief
  • A thorough grasp of instructional design practice and technology-based learning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent follow-up, time management and organisation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Proactive technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline including RISE to an expert level.
  • Able to work at pace whilst maintaining an accurate, high quality output.
  • Strong teamwork and the willingness to assist other team members when needed to ensure key priorities are delivered
