Overview
We’re looking for a highly organised, personable EA/Office Manager to keep the Leadership Team efficient and the office running smoothly.
This role combines executive support with office and operations management – ideal for a person who thrives on building relationships, bringing order to chaos, and delivering value across the business.

About The Role
Executive Support
- Schedule and minute board meetings and other business-critical events
- Act as a gatekeeper and point of contact for the CEO-CTO, managing competing priorities with discretion and professionalism:
- Proactive calendar management to protect focus time, resolve conflicts and coordinate meetings with international stakeholders
- Email triage and management, to include flagging urgent items and filing closed threads
Office Management
- Be the first point of contact for office-related queries and support across the business, including welcoming visitors and new team members
- Own day-to-day office operations, ensuring that the office, kitchen, and communal areas are well-stocked with smooth-running processes
- Manage office and kitchen supplies
- Plan and execute company events, offsites, and team celebrations
- Coordinate travel arrangements, both domestic and international
- Manage company logistics including shipping/receiving and visitor access

Operations support
- Support HR-adjacent tasks including document preparation, maintaining employee records, recruitment, and onboarding
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks including timesheets and invoice matching, and coordination with the finance department
- Support Head of Operations with companywide improvement initiatives
As an expanding early-stage company, we expect roles will change and evolve as we grow. We would expect you to be willing to jump in and take on additional activities that are appropriate for the role.
Essential
About you
- Confident, approachable, and comfortable building relationships across the business
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle priorities and stay organised under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential and sensitive information
- Able to learn operational processes quickly and identify potential improvements
- A “no task too small” attitude paired with sound judgement about when to escalate
- Able to work on-site 5 days/week (part-time hours spread over 5 days will be considered)
Desirable
- Experience in a startup / biotech / lab-based environment
- Experience directly supporting CEO / Leadership Team
- Exposure to board meetings or investor relations logistics
- Basic bookkeeping experience
- Experience with HR administration, recruitment, or new hire onboarding
