EA & Operations | Tech Start-up | Central Cambridge | 5 days office based | £55,000 - 75,000 DOE
(Will wait one month maximum for notice)

Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious deep tech start-up based in Cambridge. They are backed by investors and are beginning to raise for their seed round. The business is scaling quickly from a founding team of 3 to 5, with ambitions to reach 100 people within two years. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to join an ambitious, well-funded start-up and help shape how it operates from the very beginning.

The Role

You'll be the first operational hire, working directly with the co-founders to bring order, structure and momentum to a fast-moving environment. No two days will look the same, and you'll need to be equally comfortable managing a chaotic calendar as you are choosing how the new office should be designed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
