EA to CEO/CFO – Full or Part-Time, Hybrid 22947
High-Growth | VC-Backed Biotech | Italian required
£41,000 (or equivalent pro rata) + bonus + share options
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-funded, early-stage biotech company developing groundbreaking therapies based on cutting-edge scientific research.
Following a significant recent investment round, the company is entering an important period of expansion as it moves its lead programme towards a major clinical milestone and continues to develop its wider pipeline.
With a small, highly experienced team and substantial backing from leading investors, this is an opportunity to join the business at a formative stage and work closely with its senior leadership as the company grows.

They are looking for a part or full-time Executive Assistant who will provide top-level support to the leadership team while also playing a broader role in keeping the day-to-day operations of the business running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team, and CFO
- Executive and administrative support, including travel and expenses
- Assisting with Board presentations and other senior-level materials
- Undertaking ad hoc research and supporting leadership projects
- Managing staff and contractor expenses and company credit card administration
- Supporting HR administration and onboarding documentation
- Coordinating office equipment and liaising with external IT support
- Supporting the CFO and external accountants with payments and payroll administration
- Liaising with advisers and accountants in Italy in relation to the company’s Italian subsidiary
- Providing wider operational support across the business as it continues to scale

The skills you need to bring:
- Experience supporting senior executives
- Highly organised and proactive approach
- Confidence operating in a small, fast-moving, and entrepreneurial environment
- Flexibility and the ability to take ownership
- Ability to work across different business functions and with external professional advisers
- Genuine interest in being part of a scale-up, investment-backed business
- Strong spoken Italian
