Executive Assistant to Senior Chair - 18-Month FTC

£55,000-£68,000 | Potentially up to £70,000 for an exceptional candidate | London | Hybrid

Summary

Our client is a highly respected, international and purpose-led organisation with a global impact. They are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide trusted support to a senior Chair during an important period of growth and development.

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced EA who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and is confident supporting a senior executive with complex commitments, multiple time zones and high-level stakeholders.

The Role

Working closely with the Chair and a senior adviser, you will take ownership of a complex and demanding schedule, ensuring everything runs smoothly and anticipating requirements before they arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Extensive diary management across multiple time zones, with proactive planning and follow-up.
  • Coordinating complex domestic and international travel, accommodation, visas and logistics.
  • Managing changing schedules and resolving last-minute issues calmly and efficiently.
  • Coordinating high-level internal and external meetings, including rooms, virtual technology and hospitality.
  • Acting as a professional point of contact for senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing correspondence, documents, approvals, expenses and confidential administration.
  • Providing basic IT and virtual meeting support where required.
  • Ensuring the Chair is fully prepared and punctual for meetings, engagements and travel.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting a very senior executive within an international or similarly complex environment, with exceptional diary and travel management experience.

You will be:

  • Highly organised, meticulous and proactive, with excellent follow-through.
  • Experienced managing complex international diaries and travel across multiple time zones.
  • Discreet and trustworthy, with excellent judgement when handling sensitive information.
  • Polished, warm and professional, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities and changing requirements.
  • Comfortable working independently and anticipating what is needed without being asked.
  • Culturally aware and confident working across an international organisation.
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and spoken English; French is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with virtual meeting technology and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • A genuine interest in working for a purpose-led organisation with global impact is important.

The Opportunity

Salary: £55,000-£68,000 depending on experience, potentially up to £70,000 for an exceptional candidate

Contract: 18-month FTC, full-time

Location: London, hybrid working

Benefits: 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, 8% pension, private medical/cash plan and death-in-service benefit.
