About the Role
This post requires a high degree of autonomy and a self-starter 'can do' attitude. You will be expected to use your initiative to solve problems (with support from senior staff). You will be an excellent communicator and be confident and comfortable in dealing with senior people and their offices.
Every day you will…
- Manage complex diaries meetings, plan agendas, and reports, updating attendees and hospitality. This may include communicating complex, sensitive information with a range of staff internally and externally across the organisation.
- Deal with all communications and enquiries politely and courteously, using tact, discretion, and confidentiality, referring enquiries to other staff as necessary and/or responding appropriately to the query. This may require obtaining and sending information in various forms.
- Take responsibility for leading the scope and delivery of colleague and line manager self-service administration activities, including travel arrangements, room bookings and office facilities.
- To frequently deal with multiple stakeholder groups, when seeking or asking for information.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
- Substantial experience in supporting a senior executive
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Previous experience of working in a confidential, sensitive and pressurised environment
- Ability to work with sensitivity and diplomacy, patience and confidentiality in dealing with a wide range of people
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to present well-reasoned influence over others whom the post holder may have no formal authority.
