About The Role ✍️
We’re hiring a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support Barney, Cleo’s CEO and Founder. This is more than diary management: you’ll help him operate at his best by driving projects forward, improving how work gets done, and ensuring the business follows through on its highest-priority decisions.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Proactively manage Barney’s schedule, travel, and logistics, resolving conflicts before they become problems; provide occasional support to other execs.
- Prepare for key meetings with clear briefings, stakeholder coordination, and rigorous follow-up on decisions and actions.
- Drive projects and business-wide coordination on Barney’s behalf, including ownership of the company newsletter.
- Act as a trusted liaison for internal teams and external partners, managing communications and keeping work moving.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements that reduce administrative load and increase effectiveness.
- Support personal administration, including bills and appointments, with complete discretion and sound judgement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
