Edinburgh based | Hybrid working | Full time

Requirements: Based in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is not a remote role. You MUST have legal right to work in the UK. www.thedigitalage.co.uk

Who are we?

We're tda!, a brilliant digital creative agency based in Edinburgh.

We help ambitious brands succeed in the digital age by creating standout brands, beautiful websites, engaging social content, and digital experiences that people actually remember.

No two days are the same here. One morning you could be creating social content for a national campaign, by lunch you're helping shape a new brand identity, and by the afternoon you're designing for a website launch. If you love variety, creativity and learning something new every day, you'll fit right in.

Who are we looking for?

A curious, creative, design-obsessed junior who wants to make brilliant work.

Maybe you've just graduated. Maybe you've already spent a year or two building your skills. Either way, you're hungry to learn, excited by digital, and love the challenge of solving problems through design.

You're just as happy creating a social post as you are exploring a new brand direction or designing a web interface. Most importantly, you bring ideas, ask questions, and never stop learning.

About the Role

We're looking for a talented and driven junior designer to join our creative team. This is a broad design role covering graphic design, social media, web, brand, and print - but social is where you'll spend most of your time, so a genuine feel for content culture and what performs on platform is essential.

Whether you're a recent graduate or early in your career, you'll get hands-on experience across a range of disciplines from day one. You'll be working on real client projects, moving quickly, and developing your skills across the full design mix.

We work with a large range of clients and no day is the same at tda!, so this is an excellent opportunity to jump head first into the world of design.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About you

What we're looking for

We're not looking for someone who only knows one discipline. The ideal candidate is comfortable switching between projects as needed - from a social post to a new logo refresh for a brand. We’re a small agency and as such the variety and co-working on projects is constant. You'll have a strong visual eye, a good sense of pace, and most importantly curiosity and drive to keep developing your skills across the board.

Your portfolio doesn't need to be polished to perfection - we want to see how you think. That might include student projects, personal work, spec campaigns, or freelance jobs. Show us what you're capable of and where your interests lie.

How to apply

Send your CV and portfolio to careers@thedigitalage.co.uk. Please include examples of design work alongside any other design disciplines you'd like to show.
