The Role
Would you like to be an Early Careers & Campus Recruiter supporting one of our Financial Services clients?
If you have a passion for doing things better - for both your clients and your career - bring it to AMS and unleash your potential.
Bring your curiosity and questions, and together we’ll discover solutions that make the career dreams of our candidates a reality. Bring your true self and your ideas to the table, there's always room for you and we’re always listening.
What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?
You’ll work as part of the wider Emerging Talent team responsible for Work Experience, T-level, Apprentice, Intern, Industrial Placement and Graduate hiring. Your role will be working in a “360” capacity delivering both attraction and selection activity, alongside being responsible for a key project related to Emerging Talent hiring, expected to be within (but not limited to) Work Experience, T-level and Apprenticeship hiring.
Managing full life-cycle recruitment for vacancies, you could be supporting Work Experience, T-levels, Foundation/Modern Apprenticeship or Degree Apprenticeship hiring at different parts of the year, alongside delivering a suite of recruitment and non-recruitment attraction activity directly to potential applicants.
Exceptional candidate experience, decreasing time-to-hire, and ensuring a best-in-class quality of delivery are central to the aspirations of the team. With a distinct focus on emphasising the activity which really helps support strategic objectives and skills acquisition, your activity will directly tie into helping us achieve those objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
