At TGW, looking for an Early Careers Lead who can turn strategy into action, building structured programmes, strong talent pipelines and exceptional experiences for apprentices, graduates and other early talent. You'll combine long-term thinking with strong programme management, ensuring our Early Careers activities are well planned, effectively delivered and aligned to future business needs. This is a unique opportunity to establish and manage the processes, partnerships and programmes that help future talent discover, join and grow within our business, creating meaningful pathways into engineering, technology, logistics and professional careers.
Working collaboratively across Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development, alongside business leaders across TGW, you'll design, implement and continuously improve programmes that attract, develop and retain the next generation of talent.
What you'll be handling:
As our Early Careers Lead, you'll take ownership of the complete Early Careers agenda, including:
- Translating workforce planning requirements into practical Early Careers programmes, 3-5 year recruitment plans and sustainable talent pipelines.
- Building and maintaining structured Early Careers programmes that meet agreed business workforce plans, future skills requirements and succession needs.
- Leading the recruitment and onboarding of apprentices, graduates, placement students and interns.
- Building strong partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, training providers and STEM organisations.
- Designing engaging development journeys, mentoring frameworks and clear progression pathways.
- Ensuring Early Careers programmes are delivered consistently across the business and meet agreed quality standards.
- Owning programme performance, progression, retention and completion measures, identifying opportunities for improvement and taking action where required.
- Managing apprenticeship funding, provider performance, programme quality and regulatory compliance.
- Managing programme reporting, governance and risk management processes to ensure effective oversight and informed decision making.

What you'll need:
- Experience managing apprenticeship, graduate, placement, internship or other Early Careers programmes.
- A strong understanding of UK apprenticeship frameworks, Apprenticeship Levy funding and programme compliance.
- Experience within talent attraction, workforce planning, talent management or learning and development.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical capability and confidence using data to identify trends and drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, inspire and build credibility across a wide range of audiences.
- A CIPD Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development or a related discipline.
