HR Support is delighted to be partnering with a growing, mid-sized London law firm with an outstanding reputation as an employer, to recruit an experienced Early Careers Manager / Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager on a permanent basis.

This firm is widely recognised for its collegiate culture, welcoming environment, and strong people-first approach. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive HR team and working within a hybrid model that promotes flexibility and work-life balance.

Due to an internal restructure and the growth of the team, they are looking to hire an ambitious and energetic Early Careers specialist (Graduate Recruitment) to not only help them attract and hire the best and the brightest of the next generation of solicitors, but also to support those trainees through their early careers and professional development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will be responsible for recruiting for all of the firm's trainee lawyers and Solicitor Apprentices, as well as vacation scheme candidates, and take an active role in the marketing and events surrounding this.

But you will also be involved in the strategy and planning, working closely with the senior managers to plot out the growth within their teams, and be a proactive and engaged HR Business Partner to the firms’ Trainee population.

What they are looking for is a bright and confident senior Early Careers Advisor looking to make a step up, or an Early Careers Manager with creative flair and a real passion for the graduate recruitment and development process, who wants to build something new.

Candidates must have at least 4-5 years’ experience in a law firm, ideally within the Early Careers/Graduate recruitment side, but they will consider candidates whose experience comes from a broader HR function where Early Careers has been part of their responsibility, and they now want to specialise in this.
