Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Location: Huntingdon, Peterborough or Lincoln, with regular travel across the full Anglian Water region to support the Early Careers Team where required.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week). We offer flexible working opportunities, including consideration for part-time working.

Please note: This role will require regular travel across the Anglian Water region to support colleagues, partner organisations, educational providers and recruitment activities.

The Role

The Early Careers Partner plays a key role in supporting Early Careers colleagues across Anglian Water and our Alliances, acting as a trusted partner throughout their learning journey.

You'll be responsible for creating an outstanding learner experience by providing support, monitoring progress and performance, and ensuring colleagues have the tools, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed. Working closely with line managers, mentors, learning providers, colleges and our wider People team to ensure we have effective support in place, you'll help identify risks and opportunities to guarantee our early careers colleagues have the best possible experience.

Please note that regular travel across the Anglian Water region will be required to support learners, managers, learning providers and other Early Careers activities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as the key point of contact for apprentices and graduates throughout their programme
  • Providing support and guidance to help learners thrive and succeed
  • Monitoring learner progress, engagement and performance, identifying and addressing risks early
  • Working closely with line managers, learning providers and colleges to deliver a positive learner experience
  • Supporting learners through key programme milestones, including gateways and End Point Assessments (EPAs)
  • Building strong relationships with colleges, universities and training providers
  • Partnering with business leaders and HR colleagues to develop future talent pipelines
  • Supporting attraction activities, careers and selection events and employer brand initiatives across the region
  • Maintaining programme governance, learner data and reporting to measure success and drive improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within Early Careers, Apprenticeships, Talent, Learning & Development or a related field is preferred
  • A passion for supporting people to learn, develop and achieve their potential
  • Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship programmes, learning providers or educational partnerships
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and supporting learners through challenges
  • Proactivity, strong organisational skills and an ability to identify and solve problems before they escalate
  • Committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can succeed
  • Full UK Manual Driving licence
