Job Title: Early Careers Recruitment Assistant Manager (contract)
Location: UK Hybrid - any Deloitte office location (London, Reading, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham). Travel to the office on an adhoc basis may be required
Duration: 2 months (with potential to extend)
Contract Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35)

Join our award-winning Early Careers Recruitment Team as an Early Careers Recruitment Assistant Manager on an initial short term basis. Our team is dedicated to delivering a best-in-class experience and enhancing the firm's diversity. The team comprises c. 30 in-house individuals and is supported by a recruitment process outsource (RPO) for screening and scheduling. As an Assistant Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for Early Careers programmes within a specific business area. This will involve strategically managing talent pipelines to meet recruitment demands while upholding diversity, commercial viability, and a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Hire diverse Early Careers talent across an array of student programmes, while delivering a leading experience for both candidates and business stakeholders.
- Manage recruitment delivery for a given business area(s), ensuring effective campaign planning, ongoing pipeline management, providing direction to the RPO team to execute outcomes, overseeing the delivery of final stage assessment events and onboarding new joiners.
- Own relationships with senior business stakeholders to determine hiring demand and provide regular recruitment updates.
- Enable the delivery of our Early Careers Talent Engagement strategy by facilitating work experience events, attending careers fairs and school events and delivering presentations to prospective applicants.
- Monitor diversity in pipelines from application through to offer, identify and implement strategic interventions where necessary to achieve the firm’s diversity targets.
- Execute and contribute to post-offer engagement plans to retain top talent and ensure a high-class candidate experience.
- Contribute to cross-functional teamwork, including supporting projects and initiatives outside of your business area.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Must have prior experience in managing and delivering high-volume recruitment within Early Careers Recruitment
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrable experience in building and nurturing strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (including written, verbal and presentation skills) with the ability to drive influence
- Strategic mindset and flexible approach: Can think strategically and link activity with broader objectives, while switching focus to deal with operational detail where necessary.
- Data and Analysis - Comfortable analysing and presenting data, while identifying trends and drawing meaningful conclusions from analysis.
