Job Description

At Danone, you’re not just early talent; you’re just in time to take ownership of your career and be empowered to make a difference.

Would you like to join a team where you can help grow some of the UK's most loved food and drink brands?

Our Sales team are on a mission to grow our categories, strengthen customer partnerships, and unlock opportunities that create value for shoppers, customers and Danone.

Join us on our two-year Sales programme and gain valuable experience, building a solid foundation for your future career whilst earning a starting salary of £35,000!

What can I expect on the programme?

Our Sales team sits at the heart of Danone's commercial business, working with customers and internal teams to drive growth across our categories. Combining customer relationships, commercial thinking and data-driven insights, the team helps shape strategies that deliver value for shoppers, customers and Danone.

On our two-year Sales programme, you’ll gain hands-on experience in two key areas:

  • National Account Executive: Support the day-to-day management of customer accounts, deliver promotional and customer activation plans, analyse sales performance, and work with a range of stakeholders to help drive profitable growth.
  • Category Executive: Use shopper, customer and market data to develop insights and recommendations, support range reviews, build compelling selling stories, and identify opportunities to grow Danone's categories with customers.

You’ll spend one year in each team, swapping at the halfway point, so you’ll build a broad skillset and see the full scope of Sales at Danone. Along the way, you’ll work with colleagues across the business, develop your project management and communication skills.

What will you do day-to-day?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
