Description
Actica Consulting is a growing technology consultancy delivering some of the UK’s most nationally critical and technically complex projects.
Our customers span the public sector, including the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, HM Treasury, Ministry of Justice, police, fire services and NHS, alongside organisations across the private sector.
We’re looking for an organised, proactive Early Careers Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in Guildford.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career within inhouse recruitment within a fast-paced professional services environment. You’ll work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition, supporting the recruitment of graduates and experienced consultants while helping us deliver a great candidate experience.
No two days will be the same. You’ll coordinate interviews, manage candidates through our ATS, communicate with candidates and stakeholders, support recruitment events and help keep our hiring processes running smoothly.
As you gain experience, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of more areas of recruitment and contribute to improvements across our Talent Acquisition function.
Key Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process using Pinpoint, our ATS
- Coordinating interviews and candidate communications
- Logging applications and maintaining accurate recruitment records
- Posting vacancies across relevant job boards
- Providing feedback to candidates
- Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process and onboarding
- Assisting with recruitment reporting and administration
- Representing Actica at careers fairs and recruitment events
- Supporting improvements to our recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Developing your skills in direct sourcing and employer branding as your experience grows

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
You’ll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in getting the details right and can stay organised when things get busy.
You’ll Bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A confident and professional approach when speaking with candidates and stakeholders
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Initiative and a willingness to take ownership
- Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems
- A collaborative approach and positive attitude
- Previous inhouse recruitment experience is essential
- Experience using an ATS, particularly Pinpoint, is desirable
